I believe that through film, cut by cut, borders can be crossed, connections can be made, and a deeper understanding of ourselves can emerge.
As an actor and filmmaker I gravitate towards stories that explore questions of belonging, memory, and identity. Coming from Brazil and immigrating to the US, I am particularly interested in the tension and complexities of being in between, and how it’s possible to express that in a sensitive, raw and vulnerable way.
